Abstract:
To facilitate handling of an outer fan cover of a totally-closed fan-cooled dynamo-electric machine.SOLUTION: A totally-closed fan-cooled dynamo-electric machine 200 comprises: a rotator having a rotor shaft 11 and a rotator iron core; a stator having the stator iron core and a stator winding; a frame 40; two bearings; two bearing brackets; an outer fan 55; and an outer fan cover 100 having an end plate 110 which covers the outer fan 55 so that a channel of an outer air to an outer side surface in a radial direction of the frame 40 is formed and in which a port for sucking an outer air is formed and a side plate 120 arranged on the outer side in the radial direction of the outer fan 55. A side surface cover part 120 includes two groups which are symmetric to a vertical surface passing through a rotational center of the rotor shaft 11, and each of the groups includes a plurality of parts 121 and 122 which can move to a peripheral direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
