Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the blocking of shafts and the closure of a distillation head and to maximize the usable effective capacity by fitting a group of gears engaged with each other of a multiaxial mixer on respective shafts axially deviated from each other and connecting the gears to each other by a kneading bar.
SOLUTION: For example, in case of a biaxial mixer, groups of gears 3, 3' axially separated from each other and engaged with each other are provided on shafts 2, 2', respectively. The gears 3, 3' are connected to each other by kneading bars 5, 5', respectively. On the end surfaces of the groups of the gears 3, 3' kneading bars 4, 4' respectively connected to only single gear 3, 3' are provided. On this biaxial mixer, an inlet and an outlet for a material to be mixed and a steam port are provided. In this way, the usable effective capacity is made about 67.8% of the inner volume of a housing. Besides, the surfaces of the gears 3, 3' are cleaned mutually by their edges and their housings.
