PURPOSE: To offer the function display selecting device removing a conventional defect due to the fixed determination of display order of plural function names and capable of displaying the function name of a function to be comparatively frequently used at the head of the display order.

CONSTITUTION: When a switch key 10a is depressed, plural function names are successively displayed on a display part 11, and when the function of the N-th display order is selected, the display order of the selected function name is changed to a 1st display order, the contents of a display order table 2a are changed so that the display order of the 1st to (N-1)th function names is successively shifted down to 2nd to Nth function names, and the changed display order is used as the succeeding display order.
