Signals from a pressure switch 11 mounted to an insole 16 of a shoe 15 for a sound leg are transmitted by radio. The movement timing of the diseased leg is predicted from the movement of the sound leg in the walking assisting device body (a treatment device body) 20. Functional electrostimulation pulses with an accurate output envelope pattern are imparted to the diseased leg at an accurate timing.
