To obtain a functional material in which the multiplication and movement of an endothelial cell on the surface of an artifical blood vessel is improved.
Playing attention to the biological property of VEGF, the multiplication behavior and moving velocity an endothelial cell on a substrate to which the VEGF has been fixed, are investigated for the purpose of the application to a hybrid-type artificial blood vessel. As a result, it is that, if the VEGF and fibronectin are fixed together, the multiplication of the blood vessel endothelial cell is accelerated, and the moving velocity is increased, so that it is thought that the hybrid artificial blood vessel that has been prepared by biologically fixing the endothelial cells to the substrate shows a good patent ratio due to the anti-thrombus property excellent in the endothelial cell.
