Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a functional member very easily manufactured and capable of easily providing three-dimensional deformation to a base material without any need to soften the base material in advance, and an article using the same.SOLUTION: A functional member 1 has a plurality of grooves 11, 12, 21, and 22 having prescribed widths and provided from surfaces 2ya, 2yb, 2za, and 2zb of a base material 2 toward the inside. The groves are formed by having a plurality of opening/closing groove groups 10 and 20 arranged at positions in which the elastic deforming directions of the base material are different, the opening/closing groove group comprising an opening groove provided at a position in which the base material is elastically deformed to be opened in a width direction and a closing groove provided at a position in which the base material is closed in the width direction when bending moments Mya and Mza are applied to the base material in the width direction of the grooves, and formed so as to allow a virtual axis extending in the width direction of each groove of the base material to be deformed in a three-dimensional direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
