Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a functional pyroligneous acid (wood vinegar) having functions imparted so as to stably exhibit the functions of the wood vinegar over a long period by converting the pyroligneous acid into a cationic polymer salt or further making a metal salt coexist therewith, etc.
SOLUTION: The functional pyroligneous acid (wood vinegar) is obtained by providing a solution containing 0.01-15% of chitosan in one or a plurality of the wood vinegar, bamboo vinegar, grass vinegar and hull vinegar of grains and, as necessary, adding 0.01-8% of hydroxyethyl cellulose-2- hydroxypropyltrimethylammonium chloride ether and/or 0.01-5.0% of L-ascorbic acid and/or 0.0001-15% of the metal salt to the solution. The solution is composed of an aqueous solution in which the concentration of the solution is regulated according to uses.
