Abstract:

To provide a woven fabric the fibrilation of which by abrasion is reduced, and which has an agent for imparting functions such as water repellency, having excellent washing resistance.

This woven fabric is characterized by a specific shape of at least one of warp and weft yarns, comprising filament yarns having multilobal cross sections, satisfying the following expression (1): [yarn density (number/inch)]×[size (dtex)]0.5≤650 (1), and having three or more lobes having ≤90° angles (α) formed by the tops of the lobes in the cross section of each of the multilobal filament yarns, and grade 4 or more water repellency.
