Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a fungicidal composition for agricultural and horticultural use having synergistic effect by combining a specific amide derivative with methyl (E)-2-[2-[6-(2-cyanophenoxy)pyrimidin-4-yloxy]phenyl ]-3-methoxyacrylate.
CONSTITUTION: This fungicidal composition for agricultural and horticultural use is produced by combining an amide derivative of formula I (X is H or Cl; Y is Cl or Br; R is methyl or vinyl) with methyl-(E)-2-[2[6-(2-cyanophenoxy) pyrimidin-4-yloxy]phenyl]-3-methoxyacrylate. The amide derivative of formula I is e.g. the compound of formula II or formula III. The plant blights controllable by the composition are e.g. rice blast, sheath blight, pseudo-sheath blight and helminthosporium leaf spot. The composition is produced preferably by mixing 1 pt.wt. of the amide derivative of formula I with 0.2-20 pts.wt. of the other compound.
