PURPOSE: To provide the titled composition containing 1,2-dibromo-2,4- dicyanobutane and 2-(4-thiazolyl)-benzimidazole as active components and effective to completely control the seed-infective blight of agricultural and horticultural crops such as paddy rice plant, especially blight caused by resistant pathogen.

CONSTITUTION: The objective composition contains 1,2-dibromo-2,4-dicyanobutane and 2-(4-thiazolyl)-benzimidazole as active components. The composition can be applied in the form of powdery mixture, however, it is preferable to use in the form of wettable powder of flowable mixture in combination with known adjuvants. The weight ratio of 1,2-dibromo-2,4-dicyanobutane to 2-(4-thiazolyl)- benzimidazole is 1:0.01W0.01:1, preferably 1:0.1W0.1:1.
