Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sterilizer supply device capable of retaining any rise of content in a tank storing sterilizer solution to be injected into a ballast water pipe at a preset standard.SOLUTION: A sterilizer supply device comprises a hopper 11 for storing a solid chemical to be used as a raw material of a sterilizer, a tank 13 positioned under the hopper and storing the solid chemical and water as content, a fixed volume supply mechanism 11A for cutting the solid chemical in a smaller unit from the hopper and supplying it, a connection pipe 12 for moving the solid chemical supplied by the fixed volume supply mechanism to the tank, and a sterilizer injection unit T1 for injecting sterilizer manufactured by dissolving the solid chemical in water within the tank or after being taken out from the tank into water which is used for ship ballast moving in a ballast water pipe T by being energized by a feed water pump. The sterilizer supply device comprises a rise prevention mechanism for preventing the content from arriving at the hopper when the content of the tank rises via the connection pipe.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
