Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymeric compound expected to be used as an organic light-emitting element material and organic transistor material by utilizing a carbene part of an unstable type 2-furylcarbene complex generated from a conjugated ene-yne carbonyl compound with a transition metal complex, as a reaction point of a polymerization reaction.
SOLUTION: This furan ring-containing polymeric compound is characterized by being expressed by general formula (I). This method has a possibility of being used industrially in a point capable of providing the polymeric compound expected to be used as the organic light-emitting element material and organic transistor material by utilizing the carbene part of the unstable type 2-furylcarbene complex generated from the conjugated ene-yne carbonyl compound with the transition metal complex, as the reaction point of the polymerization reaction.
