Abstract:
To prevent ink fouling by preventing the dropping of ink from both ends of the nip part between a plate cylinder and a furnisher roll and to stabilize the accumulation of ink above the nip part.
Weir plates 10 are installed at both ends of an ink bank formed above the nip part between the plate cylinder 1 and the furnisher roll 2 to contact the roll 2 and the plate cylinder 1, and the dropping of the ink from both ends the ink bank is prevented. In the plate 10, a fitting angle around the furnisher roll 2 is made adjustable so that the plate 10 can correspond to plate cylinders of different diameters.
