Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a furniture coupler and top board extensible furniture capable of further enhancing earthquake proof of furniture with a top board and expanding a working area of a top board surface to the area of two top boards or larger.SOLUTION: The furniture coupler includes: coupler bodies that are disposed to be laid across the top boards of a pair of furniture with the top boards disposed in such a manner that end faces of the top boards face each other at a prescribed interval apart; fixing members that fix the coupler bodies to the backsides of the top boards of the pair of furniture with the top boards or to the other end faces adjacent to facing end faces of the top boards of the pair of furniture with the top boards; and a top board extension plate member that is disposed between the facing end faces of the top boards of the pair of furniture with the top boards and, the backside of which is supported by the coupler bodies.
