Abstract:
To provide a furniture designing system capable of designing a piece of furniture corresponding to the layout of a room or the size of a package.SOLUTION: A furniture designing system 1 comprises: an input part 2 for inputting data on a plurality of packages that are stored in a piece of furniture and layout data on a room in which the piece of furniture is placed; and a design part 4 for designing the piece of furniture on the basis of the data on the packages and the layout data on the room in such a manner that a plurality of the packages can be stored in a plurality of storage parts. Package size data is included in the package data, and data on the position and size of an opening (a door or window) of the room is included in the room layout data. The design part 4 avoids the piece of furniture interfering with the opening of the room while reducing the depth of the storage part at a position near the opening, and makes a furniture plan view design in such a manner that the front end side of the piece of furniture can be curved in plan view.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
