Abstract:
To provide a configuration that has a simple structure, is readily constructed and has excellent versatility, on a fall-prevention device for furniture and the like which are placed on the floor.SOLUTION: A fall-prevention device 6 is installed between a floor surface F and furniture 1 to prevent the furniture 1 from falling. The fall-prevention device 6 includes: a connection part 33 to which a pair of pieces of furniture 1 are placed and connected while being arranged adjacent to each other; an oscillation allowable part 39 for making the pair of pieces of the furniture 1 mutually independently permit oscillation along a direction in which the furniture 1 is arranged; and an oscillation suppression part 73 for suppressing fluctuation of one of the pieces of the furniture 1 using the load of the other piece of the furniture 1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
