Abstract:
To provide a piece of furniture with a top board, which suppresses discomfort when an office worker or the like touches the underside of the top board and the edge of the underside and which enables visual recognition of the thin top board while rigidity of the top board is maintained.SOLUTION: A top board 11 has an upper structure part 20 in which the top face is defined as a work plane and a lower structure part 30 which supports the upper structure from below. The upper structure part includes: a flat plate part 21 having the work plane; a peripheral wall part 22 that is pendent downward from the outer edge 21a of the flat plate part; and a drawing piece 23 that is extended toward the center of the flat plate part in plane view from the lower edge of the peripheral wall part. The lower structure part is provided with a bottom plate part 34 that is arranged on the opposite side of the flat plate part. The lower structure part is arranged on the central part side of the flat plate part from the tip end 23b of the drawing piece in plane view, and is fixed to the lower face 21b of the flat plate part, where a vertical thickness d2 is larger than a clearance d1 from the lower face 21b of the flat plate part to the lower face 23a of the drawing piece.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
