Abstract:

To provide furniture which improves a posture by properly supporting muscle training.

The furniture with a training supporting function includes: a self-standing furniture body C; a foot holding member 9 which is provided at the furniture body C, wherein a gap into which the feet of a user U can be inserted is formed between a floor surface and the foot holding member, to stably hold the feet of the user U; a weight receiving member 6 which is provided at the furniture body C, and receives a part or the whole of the weight of the body of the user U, to prevent the uplift of the furniture body C and the foot retention member 9. The user U of the furniture inserts the feet of the user just under the foot retention member 9 to stably hold the feet, and in such a state, performs a hip joint bending exercise of rotating the pelvis forward. Through daily hip joint bending exercise, the group of jip joint bending muscles are enhanced and ability of keeping a right posture of sitting straight is developed.
