PURPOSE: To provide a fuse blow sensing device of high reliability by furnishing a release whose end is detained with the tip of a blow indicator rod which protrudes when a fuse link has blown, and accommodating the release in a release case formed from a translucent material.

CONSTITUTION: A fuse link 2 equipped internally with a blow indicator rod 5 is fixed to a main circuit conductor 1 through a fuse holder 3 and fuse stopper 4. A release 8 is accommodated slidably in a cylindrical release case 11 installed at a fuse holder 3 through a mounting metal piece 7, and one end of the release 8 is engaged by the tip of the indicator rod 5, and a sensing part, not illustrated, is installed at the other end. The rod 5 protrudes to the left when the fuse link 2 blows to press the release 8 for its actuation, and this is sensed by the sensing part. In this fuse blow sensing device, the case 11 is made from a translucent material, and it is made possible to easily check the rod detained condition with the release 8 acularly.
