Title:
FUSE BOX STRUCTURE FOR AUTOMOBILE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS57209441
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To enable performing the fitting work easily and promptly in such a way that integral assembly is done by a fuse block fitting parts, a base part and a holder part to be temporarily held on an instrument panel, and a lid to freely open and close the opening port of the instrument panel.

CONSTITUTION: A fuse box 10 is integrally formed and assembled by a fixed part 11 on which a fuse block 1 is fixed with a screw 1a, a base part 12 which is put on an instrument panel cluster 7, a holder part 15 which is bifurcately formed at the base part 12 to interpose the cluster 7 and provides a pawl 16 engaged with an opening hole 13 of the cluster 7, and a lid 18 which is allowed to make an opening port 17 of the cluster 7 freely openable and closable by means of thin hinges 14 at the base part 12. When mounting the box 10 on the cluster 7, since the box 10 is temporarily fixed on the cluster 7 by means of the engaging pawl 16, regular tightening of the box 10 can be readily done.
