PURPOSE: To provide a fuse which reduces the size of the height direction of an electric connection box and increases a degree of freedom in the design of the electric connection box and also provide an electric connection box in which the fuse is installed.

CONSTITUTION: A metal conductor in which a melting part and a pair of electrodes are integrally formed is buried into a aiding body 13 having two plane parts 13a which are opposed and in parallel. In an electric connection box installed with in which the pair of electrodes 11 are partially exposed on the two plane parts 13a, the fuse 10 is held between contactors 21 in which the exposed part of the pair of electrodes 11 is connected to the inner conductor 22 of the electric connection box.
