Abstract:
To provide a fuse element having large rated current and rated voltage.SOLUTION: A fuse element comprises: a housing; a first lead and a second lead having plate-like shapes; and flux. Contact areas of the first lead and the second lead are electrically connected by a low melting metal in a state that the contact areas are overlapped with each other and separation force acts thereon. The first lead and the second lead protrude from the housing at terminal areas and the contact areas are disposed so as to be located within the housing.
