Abstract:
PURPOSE: To simplify surface temperature management of a steel plate and to always manufacture a stable product.
CONSTITUTION: A fusion welding machine heats a steel plate 2 while feeding it in a heating furnace 1, and then fusion welds a heat insulator 3 to a surface of the plate 2 raised at its temperature. The machine comprises a surface thermometer 9 provided immediately before fusion-bonding rolls 4, 5 for fusion- welding the insulator 3 to the surface of the plate 2 to measure a surface temperature of the plate 2, thereby controlling the surface temperature of the plate 3 based on an output signal of the thermometer 9.
