Abstract:
PURPOSE:To realize execution of operations of both projecting and recessing fuzzy gatherings by adding the decision/comparison arithmetic operations to a conventional system using the projecting fuzzy gathering. CONSTITUTION:The discrete value can be processed when the fuzzy gathering is expressed in the level gathering. This level gathering is transformed into variable (p, q), and a variable (C) by a transforming means. These values are compared with each other by a comparing means for decision of the recessed fuzzy gathering and the projecting fuzzy gathering. Based on this decision, one of arithmetic means is selected for execution of the arithmetic processing. Thus it is possible to apply both the projecting fuzzy gathering, i.e., the typical fuzzy gathering and the recessed fuzzy gathering for arithmetic operations.
