Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve a recognition ratio by storing a membership function and the address of a picture element corresponding to the function as a pair in a memory for storing membership functions.
CONSTITUTION: The following data are stored in a membership function memory 102 as a pair. Namely membership function data μ(j, i), the address A(j, i) of a picture memory storing the data of picture element corresponding to the identifiers J, μ(j, i) of a membership function, an 1-bit signal E/I indicating whether the membership function is an inhibition membership function or a passage membership function, an 1-bit signal C2 indicating whether data is a valid data or dummy data, and an 1-bit signal C1 indicating data end are stored. A counter 50 successively increases addresses stored in a membership function memory 103 and successively reads out these data from the memory 103.
