Abstract:
To provide a Galilean wide-angle fovea telescope which is advantageous for reducing the total length.SOLUTION: A telescope 10 is provided, comprising a front group Gf consisting of a first lens L1 and a rear group Gr comprising a first lens group Gr1 and a second lens group Gr2, arranged in order from the object side. The first lens L1 has positive refractive power P1c in the central portion and negative refractive power P1p in the peripheral portion. The rear group Gr as a whole has negative refractive power Prc in the central portion and positive refractive power Prp in the peripheral portion. The telescope 10 has a Galilean lens configuration in the center of the field of view and an inverted Galilean lens configuration in the periphery.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
