Abstract:
To provide a game board while solving a problem that, in a game board with squares such as shogi and chess, the number of the squares is decided, an area of the game board becomes large due to a large number of the squares, and weight becomes heavy, thus causing inconvenience in accommodation and carriage, also, a game board formed of only a cloth is liable to be wrinkled, therefore, a feeling when placing pieces has not been favorable, and furthermore, a player cannot play a variety of games by one game board.SOLUTION: In a game board, thin plate-shaped stuffs (square plates) such as woods for forming squares whose thicknesses are 1 mm to 6 mm are pasted on a foldable sheet-shaped stuff such as a cloth with constant intervals. At least a part of the thin plate-shaped stuffs forming the squares is made to be detachable by a hook-and-loop fastener so as to be usable in a variety of games which are different in square numbers. Also, by coloring a single-side face of at least a half of the thin plate-shaped stuffs, the player can select whether the game board should be formed into a checkered pattern board such as chess, or the same color tone board such as shogi.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
