Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain generation of mist-like object to ensure a real presentation by arranging at least one sub object with center lines made continuous within an object space, and generating an image that can be seen at a specified view point within the space.
SOLUTION: Polygons P1, P2 constructing a sub object 500 are applied with gradations so that a characteristic color of the object 500 becomes thick gradually toward a center line 510 of the sub object 500 while it becomes thin to be harmonized with a background color toward its ends 520, 530. For example, in the case of generating vapor trail type object in the sub object 500, the characteristic color thereof is made white, a sky portion of the background is made blue, the vicinity of the center line 510 is made thick white, and the ends 520, 530 are made blue while the color of the parts toward the ends 520, 530 are made gradually thin white. The arrangements are implemented with gradations by alpha adding processing. A real presentation can be assured in this way.
