This game display device for playing the game of GO while displaying the game pattern on a display screen is provided with an LCD 30 on which a segment pattern constituted of a circular arcuate part for indicating the outer periphery of a GO stone, a cross part for indicating a ruled line arranged inside the circular arcuate part and a sectorial part surrounded by the circular arcuate part and the cross part is arranged at the respective intersections of the ruled lines for indicating the board surface of a GO board and an LCD driver peripheral circuit 28 for performing display control with respect to the segment pattern on the LCD 30 so as to display only the circular arcuate part in the case of indicating a white stone, display the circular arcuate part, the cross part and the sectorial part in the case of indicating a black stone and display only the cross part in the case of indicating a state that no GO stone is placed.
