To provide a game machine capable of preventing a fraudulent command from being input to a peripheral board.
Commands include commands required for a game and those not required for the game. When a command required to be sent for a game is not present, a main board 6 sends a command not required for the game to a peripheral board 7 in such a manner that a gap equal to or longer than command frame transmission time is not made between command frames, with the result that a communication path is always busy with command transmission, so that commands from a fraudulent board are prevented from being input. The peripheral board 7 checks the command not required for the game sent from the main board 6 to see whether or not the command is normal on the basis of whether or not the command has a command code and predetermined data. If the command is not normal, the main board 6 executes alert processing and makes a notification to that effect to the outside.
