Abstract:

To provide a game machine which can eliminate at least either ball shortage state or ball overage state, without suspending the game ball shooting.

Shortly after a "jackpot" is determined in a game (or shortly after the pattern variable display in the game is started), an electromagnet 222 placed on the back of a game board 160 is excited, so that game balls on the game board 160 can be stopped from moving owing to the magnetic force generated by the electromagnet 222. Then, the execution of a special play resulting from the "jackpot" is started, and shortly after a jackpot pocket 113 is firstly opened (or shortly after the first round of a unit play is executed), the machine stops exciting the electromagnet 222 to release the game balls from the halting state.
