Abstract:

To prevent player's confusion by preventing occurrence of a conflict between a notified performance mode and a peculiar performance to be executed actually.

There are a plurality of modes (for example, a performance mode A, a performance mode B) that have different performance modes and can execute a peculiar performance (for example, a notice performance). Based on execution of predetermined operation (for example, long-press operation) using operation means (for example, a push button 120), a change to either performance mode from among the plurality of performance modes can be performed. Then, based on execution of predetermined operation during execution of variation display of a performance pattern, a performance mode is changed based on a predetermined opportunity (for example, when variation display of a next performance pattern is executed) after completion of the variation display, and the change in the performance mode is reported (for example, a change to a background screen corresponding to the performance mode is performed).
