PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance interest in a display mode of an indication pattern image.SOLUTION: A game machine includes display means (liquid crystal display device 30) for instructing a stop operation mode to a player in a first instruction performance (instruction performance B) and a second instruction performance (instruction performance F). The display means displays a first instruction pattern image (instruction pattern image SY) to instruct the stop operation mode in the first instruction performance, displays the first indication pattern image in the second instruction performance, and then displays a second instruction pattern image (indication pattern image SC) instead of the first indication pattern image at a predetermined opportunity to instruct the stop operation mode.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 22
