Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine capable of reliably erasing the storage contents of a volatile memory backed up by an electric power source for backup and not erasing the storage contents of the volatile memory by mistake by wrong operation.
SOLUTION: After the power-on of a pachinko machine, a CPU of a pattern display board starts up. Then a CPU 51 of a main board 41 starts up. In the case that a backup clear switch is pressed at this time (S7: YES), a memory clear verification command is transmitted to a speech control board. Then it is announced by speech or sound from a speaker that the storage contents of the RAM backed up by the backup power source (S12) is erased, and then the storage contents of the RAM is initialized (S13).
