Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of a counting mistake by inhibiting and releasing inflow of a game medium in each lane of a lane unit, thereby inhibiting a game medium from flowing into a lane disabled from counting due to a trouble or the like, and to arbitrarily adjust the counting speed by suitably changing the number of lanes where the game medium flows according to the counting status.
SOLUTION: This game medium counter includes: a hopper 2 where a pachinko ball as a counting object is thrown; the lane unit 5 having a plurality of lanes where the pachinko balls thrown in from the hopper 2 are aligned in each one line and rolled in a designated direction; a counting part 6 for counting the number of pachinko balls rolling in each lane of the lane unit 5 by each lane; erected bottom parts 10 provided corresponding to the respective lanes of the lane unit 5 to inhibit the pachinko ball from flowing into each lane; and a driving part 11 for erecting the erected bottom parts 10 in a designated timing to inhibit pachinko balls from flowing into each lane and release the same.
