A token sorting device 45 is equipped with a gate mechanism which makes tokens for a game pass or excluded. The token sorting device 45 is equipped with a gate plate 133 which protrudes into a guiding passage when the acceptance of the tokens is prohibited, a guiding lever 126 which is interlocked with the gate plate, and opens the external wall side of the guiding passage, and a guiding lever sensor 160 which detects the turning state of the guiding lever. The motion of the token sorting device is monitored from a control signal for indicating the acceptance permission or the acceptance prohibition of the tokens and an output signal of the guiding lever sensor. When a theoretical coordination in a normal motion cannot be obtained in these signals, the fact is sensed as an abnormality, and information of the abnormality is given to a manager or the like. Thus, the fraudulent act using the fraudulent tool is prevented from being committed.
