To provide a game system which improves amusement of a game by interesting players in a question.

The game system is provided with a game machine 2 (a pachinko machine or a pachislo machine) and a server 6. The game machine 2 comprises: a game control means (a main board of the game machine) for shifting to a big winning game state advantageous to the player when a prescribed game state shifting condition is formed; and a question means (a main board and a sub board) for giving a question (quiz) to the players when a prescribed question condition is formed. The server 6 comprises: an answer reception means (an answer reception circuit 28) for receiving answers to the question transmitted from terminals (a public telephone set, a fixed telephone set at home, a cellular phone set, a personal computer, etc.) used by the players; an answer collation means (an answer collation circuit 30) for collating whether the received answers are correct; and a list up means (a list up circuit 32) for listing up a player corresponding to a collated result.
