In this garbage dewatering device having a main body case 18, a dewatering unit 16 having the dewatering screen 28, a garbage inlet port 20 opened to the dewatering unit, a drainage port 24 opened to the main body case, an endless conveyor 26 circulated and hung between a conveyor driving shaft 32 and a conveyor driven shaft 36 mounted in the dewatering unit, and at least one scraper 30 mounted on the endless conveyor, a driving device for rotating and driving the conveyor driving shaft, is fixed to the main body case, the rotating shaft of the driving device is detachably connected to the conveyor driving shaft, and the dewatering unit can be easily separated from the main body case.
