To provide a garbage disposal device which is capable of separating garbage from water without soiling the interior of a room or the body and transferring the separated garbage into a garbage bag or to a disposal site as well as a sink.
The garbage disposal device 2 is equipped with a separation/ discharge part 10 whose operating angle is changeable from a first angle at which the loaded garbage is deposited to a second angle at which the deposited garbage falls down, a crushing part 40 for crushing the down-fallen garbage and a decomposition tank 50 which is provided below the crushing part 40 and decomposes the crushed garbage into water and a carbon dioxide gas with the help of microbes. The steps to dispose of the garbage by the garbage disposal device 2 are as follows: First, the garbage is loaded from a loading aperture 100, then the depositing area 12 of the separation/discharge part 10 is changed from the first angle to the second angle, and the garbage is crushed by the crushing part 40 when it falls down into a garbage discharge aperture 30. Next, the crushed garbage drops into the decomposition tank 50 to be decomposed into the water and the carbon dioxide gas.
