Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the fractionation ratio of garbage and foreign matter (garbage residue) and to make a garbage treatment apparatus compact. SOLUTION: In the garbage treatment apparatus equipped with a cylindrical container outer cylinder 5 in which garbage is charged, a closing part 17 arranged so as to close one end side of the cylindrical container outer cylinder 5, a gap 25 permitting a part of pressed garbage to pass and residue discharge means (39 and 41) for discharging the garbage residue remaining on the pressure surface of the closing part to the outside of the cylindrical container outer cylinder 5, the pressure part 13 arranged in opposed relation to the pressure surface 21 of the closing part 17 and moved to the pressure surface 21 to press garbage, a cylindrical container 15 loosely fitted in the gap when the pressure part 13 is moved to the vicinity of the pressure surface to form a cylindrical fine gap 27 over the entire periphery of the cylindrical container with respect to the outer diameter of the closing part and relatively movable with respect to the pressure part 13, residue delivery means (29, 31 and 32) for discharging the grarbage residue getting mixed in the gap part 25 to the pressure surface at a pressing position and adjusting means (45 and 23) for adjusting the cylindrical fine gap are provided.
