Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent large pieces of garbage from being thrown into a decomposition vessel.
SOLUTION: The garbage disposer is provided with a decomposition vessel 13 which is provided in its inside with an agitating means 16 which agitates and mixes garbage G and a medium N to which microorganisms are sticking, a lid 12 which closes a garbage input port 11c, a sieve means which is disposed between the garbage input port and the upper opening of the decomposition vessel and sorts out and passes only pieces of the charged garbage of the predetermined size to charge them into the decomposition vessel. This sieve means consists of a cover net 20 which is formed by knitting a net out of wire and providing a mesh of a desired size thereon.
