To shorten drying time and to suppress power consumption in a garbage drying treating machine of a heating drying system.
The garbage drying treating machine is provided with a compression rolling means which is constituted of a cylindrical roller 6 or the like and a heating means 8 which is provided at a compression rolling means itself or is separately provided. The heat source of the heating means 8 is made an electrical heating element and charged garbage 3 is subjected to drying treatment by the heating means 8 simultaneously with or after compression or rolling. Thereby, internal moisture is expelled onto the surface of the garbage 3 and is directly heated and further the garbage 3 becomes a thin sheet-shape. Consequently, efficiency of heat transfer is good and the garbage can be warmed in a short period of time to shorten drying time and suppress power consumption. Also, the garbage 3 can be continuously charged at any time. Furthermore, power consumption can be more suppressed by improving heat efficiency, temperature controllability, and temperature distribution property of a heating means 8 itself.
