A constitution is so made that the garbage processor comprises a container 1 for storing the garbage, a heating means 3 for heating the garbage, a temperature detection means 5 for detecting the temperature of the container 1, a heating quantity generated by the heating means 3 can be changed in a predetermined heating quantity or larger so as to allow an output detected by the detection means 5 to be kept at a first predetermined value, and when the output detected by the detection means 5 reaches a second predetermined value larger than the first predetermined value, the garbage processor judges that drying of the garbage has been completed, wherein the garbage processor capable of preventing overdrying and non-drying of the garbage attributable to the quality or quantity of the garbage can be provided.
