In a garbage treatment machine with an insect culturing function, the temperature of hot air produced by the fermentation heat discharged from the machine and the heat from the fermentation accelerating heater is adjusted in a gas conveyance passage, the hot air is released into an egg laying culture chamber to ferment/putrefy cut grass, fallen leaves, and sawdust in a short period to be fed to larvae, and an optimum temperature environment for culturing the insects is obtained.
