SOLUTION: One end of a belt conveyor 30 having a belt 31 for allowing the permeation of the liquid is disposed on the bottom of a septic tank 41 and the outer end thereof is disposed at the upper part of a solid treating section 50. The pulverized matter from a disposer 20 is directly received by this belt conveyor 30 and is transported to the solid treating section 50. The sludge, etc., are included in the liquid stored in the septic tank 41 and, therefore, the sludge, etc., are scooped by the belt conveyor 30 and are transported to the solid treating section 50. At this time, the belt 31 allows the permeation of the liquid and, therefore, the liquid-components of the pulverized matter and the sludge, etc., permeate the belt 31 and drop down to the septic tank 41 of the liquid treating section 40. As a result, the pulverized matter is subjected to the sepn. of the solid from the liquid. The solids of the pulverized matter subjected to the sepn. of the solid from the liquid are dehydrated at the time of further transporting the pulverized matter and transferring the same to the solid treating section 50.
