Abstract:
To improve the appearance and dump only a garbage storage box without interfering with a cab back box and the garbage storage box.SOLUTION: In a garbage collection vehicle 1 of the present invention, the shape of rear end surface portions 93L and 93R of side covers 9L and 9R is formed so as to follow the shape of a cover facing portion 51a of a front wall 51 of a garbage storage box 5, and the rear end surface portions 93L and 93R and the cover facing portion 51a are arranged close to each other. As viewed from the side of the vehicle, an arc having a radius r1 of the length from the rotation center of the garbage storage box to an arbitrary cover side point P1 on the rear end surface portion of the side cover is defined as a first reference arc K1, and when the garbage storage box is in a horizontal state and an arc having a radius r2 of the length from the rotation center of the garbage storage box to an arbitrary point located on the cover facing portion of the garbage storage box and located lower than the cover side point P1 is defined as a second reference arc K2, the radius r1 of the first reference arc K1 is always greater than the radius r2 of the second reference arc K2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
