This garment as a brassiere comprises using as the back cloth 1 a cloth having excellent stretch in both the length direction and the width direction and an elongation rate of the width direction of 160%. The area of the upper part 5 of the back cloth 1 is designed to have tension force stronger than that of the area of the lower part 7 of the back cloth 1 and that of the area of the central part 6 thereof. The area of the lower part 7 of the back cloth 1 is designed to have tension force stronger than that of the central part 6 thereof. The hems of the upper part 5 and the lower part 7 are free from taking care of edges. The upper part 5 and the lower part 7 of the back cloth are made flat without unevenness.
