To provide a garment effectively preventing water invasion from a seam of a tape part of a slide fastener while a front body part is formed of a face fabric, a lining fabric and a joining face fabric through which the face fabric and the lining fabric are joined, and also preventing water invasion even when omitting a fly or the like.
The garment is structured as follows: one side edge part of the joining face fabric is superimposed on the backside of the tape part of the slide fastener so that its outer layer faces outward and its inner layer faces inward; a waterproof tape including seams made by sewing to seal the vicinity thereof is adhesively attached to the inner layer of the one side edge part; the joining face fabric at either one of the right front body part or the left front body part is extended from the sewn part so as to correspond to the back side of the joined parts of elements when closing the slide fastener and folded back toward the lining fabric side so that the other-side edge part is sewn to the lining fabric.
