This garnish slicer includes: a storage cylinder 11 for storing the root vegetables vertically with the upper and lower sides opened; a sizing cutter 12 closing the lower opening of the storage cylinder 11 and reciprocated to cut the root vegetables lowered by a fixed length from the storage cylinder 11; a garnish slicing blade 52 disposed in front of the root vegetables cut by the sizing cutter 12 to move up and down; a motor 53 for vertically driving a garnish slicing blade fixed board 51; and a pressing means 40 driven to press the root vegetables cut by the sizing cutter 12 to the garnish slicing blade 52. The storage cylinder 11 is provided with a lower end part moved to the side of the device to discharge the residue in the storage cylinder 11 to the outside of the device and also provided with a cylinder 80 for driving the storage cylinder 11.
