Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas barrier laminate excellent in gas barrier properties even when the laminate is left standing over a long period of time in the atmosphere under a high humidity condition, also excellent in the adhesion with another substrate material and suitable as a packaging material.
SOLUTION: In the gas barrier laminate wherein a gas barrier layer is formed on at least the single surface of a support, the gas barrier layer contains at least one kind of a silicic acid condensate selected from an alkali metal silicate and colloidal silica and a lamellar pigment, and an overcoat layer containing a hydrophobic resin is formed on the gas barrier layer.
